IPTV Studio / Privacy
Last updated: September 21, 2026
Summary. IPTV Studio does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking.
1. Data we collect. None. The App has no servers of its own and sends nothing to Squared Studio.
2. Data stored on your device. Playlist and guide addresses, Xtream login details, favorites, preferences, and a local cache of channel and guide data are stored on your device so the App can work. Passwords are stored in the system Keychain.
3. Network connections. The App connects only to the addresses you add (to download playlists and guides and to play streams) and to image addresses contained in those playlists (for channel logos). Those connections go directly from your device to the servers you specified; we do not see them. The operators of those servers may see your IP address and requests, subject to their own policies.
4. iCloud sync. iCloud sync is on by default when your device is signed into iCloud; you can turn it off in Settings. Your sources, favorites, and preferences are stored in your private iCloud database and passwords in iCloud Keychain, both operated by Apple under Apple's privacy terms. Squared Studio cannot access your iCloud data.
5. Local network. If a playlist or stream is hosted on your home network, the system will ask for permission to access the local network. The App uses that access only to reach the addresses you added. On Apple TV, "Add from Phone" also uses it the other way round: while that screen is open, the Apple TV itself shows a page on your local network, so that a phone or computer on the same network can send it a playlist address, a program guide address, or a playlist file. The page is served by your Apple TV and reaches no server of ours; it is shown only while that screen is open, it requires the one-time code displayed on the television, it accepts one submission, and nothing is saved until you confirm it on the television.
6. Home-screen features. On Apple TV, the Top Shelf above the App's icon shows channels from your own playlists, and on iPhone, iPad, and Mac the App's widgets show the same — their names, their logos, and what your program guide says is on them now and next. That information comes from the playlists and guides you added, is prepared by the App on your device, and stays on your device: none of it is sent anywhere, and Squared Studio never sees it. To draw a channel's logo, a widget fetches it from the address in your own playlist, exactly as the App does, and keeps a small copy on your device. Selecting a channel opens the App and plays it. Channels in a group you protected with the parental PIN are never included, because these features appear without asking for the PIN.
7. Children. The App is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
8. Your choices. Delete a source to remove its data. Use Settings → Reset to clear caches or all data. Delete the App to remove everything stored on the device.
9. Changes. We will update this policy in the App and in the App Store listing if our practices change.
