We build instruments. Weather came first.

Instruments for people who'd rather see the data than the forecast. One for people who love radar. One for people who own a station. Line 02, below, isn't weather at all.

For people who love radar

Weather, the way you want to see it.

RadarStudio is for the people who watch the loop before they read the forecast. No station needed. Just the sky, in the detail you actually want.

No hardware required. If you've ever paused a loop to look at a hook echo, this one is for you.

RadarStudio

Not a weather app. A radar workbench. Live and looped radar with the controls a forecast app hides, and the room to actually look.

For people who own a station

Your station, at a glance.

Coppervane puts your Ambient Weather station in the two places it doesn't reach on its own: the Mac menu bar at your desk, and your wrist everywhere else. Same station, same numbers, one look.

Made for Ambient Weather stations. They're the one family of stations Coppervane is designed for. The app connects through the Ambient Weather API, so all you need is your ambientweather.net account and its API keys.

Coppervane

Your station in the menu bar and on your wrist. The current temperature up top on the Mac with every reading a click away, four desktop widgets, and a watch face complication showing the reading you choose.

Your playlists. Every screen.

The second line isn't weather. It's the same idea pointed at a different screen: one exact tool for people who already have the data. Here, the data is a playlist.

For people who bring their own playlist

Your playlist.
Our player.

IPTV Studio plays the M3U playlists and XMLTV program guides you already have, and keeps them organized, refreshed, and ready to watch on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV.

Bring your own playlist. IPTV Studio doesn't come with channels or playlists of its own, so what you watch is always up to you. Add one from a service you subscribe to, and it's ready on every screen.

Small team. Squared output.

We're a product studio, not an agency. We make our own things, ship them, and keep the ones that work.

Most software gets bigger by adding. Ours gets better by multiplying. Each tool we build makes the next one faster to build, and each problem we solve becomes a primitive we can use again. That's the whole trick. Find the good part, then square it.

  • Principle01

    Corners, not curves.

Clear scope, clear ship dates, clear no's. Ambiguity is expensive. Edges are cheap.

  • Principle04

    Do one thing, exactly.

A tool with one job can be perfect at it. Feature creep is how good products become average ones.

  • Principle09

    Everything compounds.

Reuse the primitive. Ship the pattern. The second product should take half the time of the first.

  • Principle16

    Show the grid.

Honest structure, visible seams. If we can't explain how it works, it isn't done.

Mode A
Original products.

Conceived, designed, engineered and shipped in-house. We own the roadmap and the consequences.

Mode B
Select partnerships.

A few founders a year who need a first product built properly. Small scope, fixed price, real ship date.
